Troubleshoot finding files

What do you need help with?

I know a file is on a drive or in a folder displayed in the Open dialog box, but I don't see it

When I use one of my saved searches, many of the files I previously found are no longer found

The wrong files appear after I complete a search

It takes a long time to search for files

The Open dialog box doesn't list the file I'm looking for

I can't see file extensions in the Open dialog box
